Kolomenskoe, a former estate of the Moscow grand dukes and the Russian tsars, is located on the high right-hand bank of the Moskva river. Today, it is a museum-reserve, a monument of  the16th and 17th century Russian architecture, and a favourite venue for popular festivities and theatrical shows featuring episodes from Russian history.

The Tsaritsyno Museum and Reserve located in the south of Moscow is a unique monument of nature, history and architecture. Century-old trees, ancient buildings and modern constructions, for example, a large light and music fountain stay in harmony in its territory.

Guests of the museum complex will be able to take a pleasant walk along the bank of the pond, stroll through the park, and admire the buildings of the 18-19th centuries that were restored some years ago.

The dominant architectural monument of the complex is the Grand Palace built upon the project of Kazakov for Catherine the Great. The Bread House, the Small Palace, the Opera House, three Cavalier Buildings and other works by Bazhenov, bridges, pavilions, towers, arches are located nearby. There is also a church in the territory of the museum.
