70 years of All-Russia Exhibition Centre
is a holiday for Maxima Hotels
The 1st of August 2009 All-Russia Exhibition Centre celebrates 70-year-old anniversary. Its history and long-term successful work of Maxima Zarya and Maxima Irbis are connected closely.
The first All-Union Exhibition of Agriculture has been spent in 1939. 20 years later separately existing agricultural, industrial and building exhibitions were integrated into All-Union Industrial Exhibition.
The popularity of Exhibition was exceedingly high.
Therefore the Zarya hotel was built specially for a large quantity of Guests accommodation in the 1950s.
Workers and farmers arrived in Moscow to experience exchange and stayed at cosy and comfortable rooms.
Soon the hotel Zarya became one of the most known in Moscow and popular among Soviet and foreign Guests.
On June 23s, 1992, by Decree of the RF President and Regulation of the RF Government, USSR All-Union Industrial Exhibition was renamed into the State Joint-stock Company “All-Russia Exhibition Center” (AREC). In the mid-nineties two buildings of the Zarya have been divided into independent hotels – Maxima Zarya and Maxima Irbis. A wide range of services are available to Guests after hotels reconstruction. Rooms have been repaired and equipped by comfortable furniture and technics.
The whole epoch All-Russia Exhibition Centre and Maxima Hotels have passed hand in hand. And now, when the Exhibition centre celebrates the anniversary, it is possible to consider it as a holiday of Maxima Hotels.
